Brockington Connemaras

Brockington Connemaras is a small stud situated in North Herefordshire. Our aim is to breed and produce both pure and partbred ponies who have the conformation, temperament and inate ability to perform at a high level. A secondary aim is to preserve the coloured genes in what is becoming a rather grey world!

To this end we have imported an athletic connemara colt, Sternsbergs Larino, by El Larry (Loobeen Larry) out of Snowfly (Ladykiller). We aim to put him forward for inspection in spring 2010. First time jumping - he is proving to have an excellent temperament and is straightworward in all ways.  We expect to produce him into a high performance pure Connemara pony, who will be the core of our breeding programme.

Brockington Foxwhelp (Pilgrims Excaliber x Arrow Peruna) withfilly foal Brockington Elstar (Hungry Hall Top Hat). Foxy has recently produced a bay filly by Westside Mirah, called Brockington Fiesta.

Brockington Elstar and Parsons Pride (Gwennac de Goariva), an Irish bred BEC filly with whom we hope to breed some good performance ponies - hopefully dun!

Brockington Connemaras is committed to using ponies with proven performance lines and excited to have no fewer than 3 JA jumping ponies our future broodmare lines.

Brockington Connemaras welcomes visitors with a little warning and have youngstock, both pure and part-bred for sale.
